    Ok i have left the iPhone camp (I won an LG G7 so i had to try it out lol) ... my question is about SMS

    I found on my Android the settings so that I get a "Sent" and "Delivered" marker when I text anyone..
    Is there a way on wifes iPhone 6+ (iOS 11) for her to see "sent"/"Delivered" - it worked fine when using iMessage... but obviously its not on SMS. Pisses her off that she cant tell if I have even received the text.

    Not with SMS. That is an iMessage feature on iOS

    but android can do it with SMS. I get a sent/delivered confirmation. iOS cant do that? that doesnt make sense... I dont need a read receipt, just delivered...

    Since day 1 Apple didn’t feel the need to include this and I doubt it will ever be introduced for regular SMS.
    A lot has been said about this subject to no avail.

    Nobody knows for sure why there are no received and read markers for SMS on Apple devices.

    IMHO, if you feel you need confirmation someone got a message, dial their mobile number and actually talk to them.

    well, when im in the grocery store, and she texts me, she wants to know that it got to my phone.... so I can be in trouble for not seeing it lol.

    Is it just me, or do we get in trouble when we receive a text and don't reply immediately, but if we send one and don't get a reply, then call, WE still get in trouble? LOL
