    GET and POST are different HTTP methods. There is very little difference as far as utilizing either from PHP: $_POST['varName'] vs $_GET['varName']. There is TONS of information about the differences between GET and POST on the Internet, so a few searches would suit you well, but here's an intro: https://www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_httpmethods.asp
