I upgraded to Safari 12 on my Mac and now my works VPN software doesn't work because Safari says it is an unsupported plugin. (A Java plugin for connecting to a VDI)
I have made sure my versions of Java is updated, went into preferences and set the website to be allowed to run plugins, etc but it still tells me its unsupported.

Therefore I guess I need to downgrade if possible until this is fixed.
How can I downgrade Safari on my Mac?

Do you maintain a Time Machine Backup? If so, revert back to the time prior to updating to the newest Safari version.

I have this same issue however it's with my FOSCAM 'security' camera's.
the MyFoscam website user portal used to work with Safari 11 (required extension); now
the site pop's up a modal dialog box saying my current version is not supported, please use Windows or app.

I also would like to revert to Safari 11.x for this reason; I will eventually change out my
FOSCAM security camera's with a more standardized Mac friendly brand but for the time
being im dead in the water. Windows is not an option for me.

I hope someone figures out how to revert Safari 12 to 11 in High Sierra.

    How to Uninstall Safari12

Open the application --> Utilities --> Terminal

    Enter the command cd /Applications

Enter the command sudo rm -rf Safari.app/

    Enter the power-on password

Enter the command sudo rm -rf Safari.app/

    Enter the command cd ~/Library/Preferences

Enter the command sudo rm -rf com.apple.Safari.*

    Enter the command cd /System/Library/StagedFrameworks

Enter the command sudo rm -rf Safari/

Then get a copy of Safari 11

I dont believe I can post external links here but be carefull downloading this with a third party service. Once you have found a safe and legit site. just install the app and run it, after this you will be on Safari 11.

Link to download (hopefully it does not ge taken down for this link)
