How much RAM should I upgrade to?

Please can someone recommend how much additional RAM (8GB or 4GB) shall I upgrade to for below present specs:

Model: Inspiron 5000 Series - 5567 Model, Processor - i3-7100U CPU @ 2.40 MHz, Ram - DDR4-2400 MHz with CL 15

My present RAM usage is always above 80%

Also, please suggest which good RAM can I purchase.

How much ram do you currently have?
Regardless of your answer, if you can afford it, the sky is the limit. If you can’t afford it, at least try to double your current RAM.

PresentlyI have 1x4GB ram. The Laptop has 2 slots. As far as buget is concerned - I'd go for the cheapest one or atleast a decent brand RAM (e.g. Kingston)

Most reputable memory manufacturers like Kingston will have a tool that can help map supported DIMM options for a given system. Please keep in mind that cheap memory is not always the best choice.
