Hi did Apple get rid of suggested contacts in spotlight search for Siri. I can’t see anything here. Only thing I see is suggested apps and news etc but nothing on contacts

    Thanks

I don’t recall it being there in iOS 11. All I ever saw were apps.

Oh I thought you meant individual contacts. Any app that you’ve use a few times recently will appear there. I don’t have the contacts app there because I never use it. Siri suggestions populate based on usage.

The contacts app is showing in the Siri app suggestions. I’m referring to actual individual contacts appearing above the Siri suggestions. Please see the screenshots

That screenshot is iOS 9. I'm on iOS 10.1.1, and I haven't seen contacts in Siri suggestions since iOS 9. Don't think they do that anymore. Many people didn't like it. A privacy issue.

Are you referring to the new Siri suggestions in iOS 12?

The option to have Siri show contact suggestions is there in the settings; Siri & Search > Contacts. You can also have Favorites show on the left Homescreen by enabling the widget.
