Will cases made for the iPad Pro 9.7 fit the new 6th gen iPad 9.7 (2018)?

From my findings, there don't appear to be nearly as many case options that explicitly state that they are made to fit the new 6th gen iPad 9.7 (2018). Given that, I am curious if cases made for the iPad Pro 9.7, which shares a lot in common with the new 6th gen iPad 9.7 (2018), are compatible with the new model as a workaround for the lack of selection.
