Today I was streaming streaming music via spotify in my work vehicle to a bluetooth speaker, I had a external object thermometer in my truck and it showed the temp being as 95 degrees.

Inside in a room that was roughly 70-78 degrees the phone hit 90 while browsing facebook and using safari to go to imore, reddit, and do some google searches.

I dont believe it to be a device issue as another phone I have did the same thing in tests which is an iphone 7.

Just wondering if these are the norm or if there is something else going on possibly?

Also one is on Verizon and the other ATT, two seperate Apple ID's

I don't know. Was the devices too hot to touch? If not, then I wouldn't worry about it. Enjoy your iPhone.
