Hi how can I message a contact

I see someone’s contact name in a forum and I want to message that person. But the thread is no longer active. How can I send them a message through this application.

Said forum probably has a search feature which you could use to search the person’s username.

Click on the person's user name. Then select PM. Note that PM means Private Message.
