iPad recommendations

I badly want an iPad for my school work but can't decide which one is right for me the 10.5 inches pro model or the entry level 2017 model. I am a high school student and need an iPad for notes and light video editing and also should I go for apple pencil or any other stylus like fiftythree pencil.
