Can you transfer money from PayPal to your own bank account or does your bank have to participate just like they do with Apple Pay

No, you can transfer. Menu Paypal: withdraw.

Of course you can! But there are delays, like 3-5 business days.

I just didn’t know because there are certain banks on the main menu when you click on transfer to bank. I Guess you can always click on other banks

Mines been linked for at least 10 years, probably more. Never had an issue what so ever and have had quite a bit of money go through them.

Mine too. Paypal + eBayer since 2007. Bank connected to Paypal.

You have to be careful with fake emails.
Sometimes you’ll receive emails saying Paypal, and they’re not from Paypal.
Never click on links inside those emails.
If you ever need to do anything, just login normally, and if any action need, you’ll see after login.
I can’t tell you how many emails I received for phishing in the past 10 years. TylerLV76 can tell the same, right?

Honestly, not really. Maybe a few but very rarely. Possibly because I use an abandoned email address anytime I sign up for something. My spam mail is pretty nonexistent.

PayPal has been linked to my bank since the day it was introduced. Never had any issues so far. I just did a transfer of funds to my bank account yesterday and the money is already in my account this morning. PayPal is one of the safest ways to pay and super easy to use. Just be aware of the very random phishing emails you may possible receive. If I am leery in anyway at all that the email is not from PayPal I go directly into PayPal to check my notifications. If the email is not there I just mark it as spam and carry on. I do have a business account with them so may receive more phishing emails than the average user. Maybe only a handful since first using PayPal.

I've always been leery of this. If I did connect PayPal to a bank account, it would not be to my main account, and the account I would use would have a small balance.

PayPal has been linked to my Bank account for several years. I transfer funds from PayPal to my bank account all the time. No problems at all.
