Do the old iPhone 4's have a battery and SIM card?

I'm in Barbados and my old iPhone 4 is dead. Not sure if there's a battery I can try replacing . If I buy a new phone here can I take my SIM card out and put it in the new phone I buy

You could have a look at iFixit.com for a battery replacement. As for the SIM card. If you replace your phone with a 4 or 4s your SIM card will fit as they are both Micro SIM cards. Any newer iPhone will take a Nano SIM card which will require you to cut your current SIM card down to fit or you will need to replace it with a new Nano SIM card. Hope this helps. Thank you.

There’s definitely a battery and you can use the same SIM card but you might need to get it cut to Nano size (unless you already have one with an adapter).
However, you might not have full network speed or features, as your current SIM card isn’t LTE.
