Family Sharing and Apps

I'm moving to iOS after my Blackberry Passport just died and my family is already on iOS but didn't know about Family Sharing. So I'm wondering if I create a Family Share will apps previously purchased individually on each device be available to all other devices afterward? Given that they support the feature of course.
