Do in app purchases still get billed if you pay with a gift card?

If you’ve already redeemed a gift card, an you’re making an in app purchase, does your purchase get billed or does anyone, apart from yourself, get notified or emailed?

Welcome to iMore! You will still receive an email invoice for the purchase. It will specify that store credit was used to make the purchase.
