I have one of Apple’s leather cases for my iPhone X. I handle my phone very much every day, and my phone’s cases become soiled & grungy after some use. Knowing leather needs to be handled carefully (and I would think especially died leather), what is/are the best products/methods of cleaning it?

You can use any good quality leather cleaner to get some of the grime out. However, that is the charm of leather as it gets worn.

The problem has been that if I don’t clean the cases, the grunge on the case rubs off and actually winds up staining my shirts (I wear short sleeve dress shirt for work, and carry the phone in the front pocket all day), rather like the inside of a shirt collar. Besides, this is a black leather case, and appreciating the “charm” would be rather difficult. Thanks for your answer. Anyone have a favorite brand?

I just use a little saddle soap on mine, but I think the wear and tear gives it character.
