Is my IPad air hacked?

So I was on my IPad last night when it started acting strange so I turned it off then turned it back on when I got back on it,it started going crazy it started to go in all my personal stuff,my games and It would type a lot of random letters so I tried to reset my IPad but it did nothing and it still continued. I don't know what to do anymore/

If it doesn’t have water or obvious physical damages, I would put the device in DFU mode and have iTunes install a fresh copy of the latest iOS version for it. Afterwards, I would set it up as new instead of from a backup in case the backup is corrupted or compromised.
