    Or is it the same? I found out the iPad 2017 has a more scratchable screen if you set it down on a table. Could it be because of its huge size as well?

    Why would you set the iPad glass-down on a table where it could be scratched easier? Where is your iPad cover? Anyway, whether it’s weaker or not, I do not know. Having said that, it is still “glass”.........Please take the necessary steps to protect it.

    May have something to do with the lack of lamination and anti-reflective coating?
