bookmarks sidebar lags

hi everyone. my bookmarks sidebar on safari for mac lags a lot. when i try to move individual bookmarks, folders, add bookmarks by dragging them in from the address bar.

any fixes? thank you everyone and have a great day.

1. How old is your Mac?
2. What OS version is installed on it?
3. How much RAM does it have?

I just tried to replicate the problem using my MacBook Air with 8 GBs RAM and running macOS High Sierra, but I ain't able to generate any lag.

hi. MacBook Pro late 2016, latest versions of OS and safari, 16gb ram. thank you.
