Has anyone had success removing the iOS software update badge icon within Settings?

I have done the iBackupBot many times, each resulting in a -1 error. An iTunes restore results with the device asking to try again after rebooting.

And yes, I have deleted the downloaded update, and installed the tvOS beta profile and turn off Find My Phone. I just cannot get my device to restore the edited preference file.

Mmnop haven't heard of a way to do this, I guess it's because they want to remind you it's important to keep your device up to date.
