    Hello. The Apple Watch needs to be paired first with an iPhone. It should then work afterwards, however you will not be able to access certain features that requires cellular connectivity.

    Hi!

    You need the 3rd Gen Apple Watch, for that.

    Otherwise, yes, but your phone has to be in range of your watch.
