iPad Pro split view

I just upgraded to iOS11 and the split view option on my iPad Pro seems to have disappeared. Any ideas on what happened and how to fix it? Thanks

Why my split view failed ? And at slide over, i can’t use my safari. Did I do it wrong ?

What about apps that are not in the dock? In ios10 I could select from any app that supported split view. Now it seems that the app must be in the dock.

Not a fan of the new iPad keyboard & don’t like the fact that an app must be in the Dock to use Split Screen or Slide Over.
The rest of it is fine.
