I was always a black kind of guy. That being said, with the glass back the gold looks nice. If it had a black front I would be all over the gold model.

Although the new gold color will more than likely be the fan favorite, in my opinion, I ordered a silver colored iPhone 8. If I get the iPhone X, I’ll get it in the new gold color.

I've had silver for so long...even my iPad is silver. It's time for a change, I've gotten a Space Grey one. I look forward to enjoying the black color in the front too!
