I have noticed that my Internet speed on my MacBook Air has been slower than on my other devices. I see a lot of buffering on video on my MacBook, but not on my iPhone, Apple TV, etc. I ran Speedtest on my MacBook, iPhone, and iPad consecutively, and I get 45 to 55 MBPs on both iPhone and iPad, but I get 5 to 15 MBPs on the MacBook. They are on the same network, and were sitting right next to each other as I tested them. I didn't test them at the same time so they weren't competing for bandwidth.

I tried changing my DNS server to Google in the MacBook, but no improvement.

Is there anything else I can try?

You could possibly try deleting the network from your MBA and adding it back in. Thanks.

Actually, I think I found it. I managed to uninstall Weather Live, and my speed picked right up!
