    I only use the stock calendar app on my phone. I am lucky to be off for several weeks this summer and I'm tired of getting time card notifications telling me it's time to leave for work! Is there anyway to disable this? I have looked but haven't been able to figure it out myself!

    It may not be the right way to get what you wanted but how about disabling notifications for that recurring calendar entry?
    You can enable it back once you start working again.
