When attempting to update iOS 10.2.1 software for my IPad (4th Generation), I completed a Reset All Settings (NOT Erase All Content and Settings). Unfortunately, I was unable to go online because password was invalid.

Consequently, the password I thought was valid was incorrect. Through my IPhone I changed my password. I then rebooted my IPad and even rebooted my modem before I attempted to get online/internet connection. No luck invalid password.

I changed that password to a new one and iTunes confirmed this valid for both the iPhone and IPad, but still unable to log on Internet on the iPad. iPhone is no problem.

    Any suggestions???

    Thanks,

Do a reset network settings on the iPad and try again.

Also, can you verify which "password" it is saying is "invalid"?

    The iCloud/Apple ID password?
    The device password/passcode?
    The WiFi password?
    Some other password?

When you read the origional post it indicates that the wifi password is incorrect , but it does not sound like the operator has put in the correct password . You mention iTunes confirmed you changed your password for wifi ??? ,have you changed your iTunes password by mistake ?
