I have an iPhone 6S + on Verizon and I’m buying a 7 Plus from a local seller, I wanted to know if there’s anything that I would need to do before swapping the sim into the new phone?

Will the Verizon SIM work properly on the new unlocked device?

After switching the SIM card, am I all set to sell the old 6S+?

1. Go to Settings > iCloud and disable Find My iPhone.
2. Go to Settings > General > Reset and Erase All Content and Settings.

After following this two steps, your iPhone 6S Plus is all set to be sold.

Yes the sim should work fine. However a few things you have to do is:

1) ensure your new device is registered in you account. Go to your Verizon website and follow the instructions. You’ll need the IMIE and the SIM I’d number

2) if you are having issues with data or phone call you may have to go into settings and reset network connections. Basically refreshes the connection and your device will then redone load it fresh, or have a fresh connection.
