Send big files

iCloud Drive, Google Drive, DropBox, Box and the likes are a good way to share big files.
+ 1 for these. 😃

Google Drive offers 15GB of free storage and the last time I checked DropBox had 5GB free space so just do a little research into each option to find which one is the best value.

Is that like AirDrop for photos? I've never used maildrop. Does it go directly a email address of your choice? Do I have to set up a iCloud email address to use this

I use Gmail. Not exactly like Airdrop. Just follow the instructions in the link. The recipient has 30 days to save the attachment if they want. It's easy. You do need iCloud, but it doesn't need to be iCloud email account. Here's more:
