    Is it possible to return my page format to the previous one ?
    the present set up with enormous photos/graphics is to use an older vernacular. "getting on my wick !". I fully appreciate that time and effort goes into these, but I don't want them unless I decide to read the post. Twenty posts per page is what my display is set up for and with these images I can get three !! This makes for very slow assimilation of what the day's content is.

    Are you talking about the blog posts on the front page? At the moment, there are only 2 options. 'Grid' and 'List'. You unfortunately can't change the size of the pictures. That is the new design.
