How can i get my macbook pro ( 17, l2011 ) out of caps lock

Hi , i wonder if i could have some help with the keyboard of my l2011 mbp

it seems to be stuck in caps lock , within all apps . This is despite caps lock being off . I have tried restarting it , to no avail .is there anyway this can be fixed ?

Any answers would be appreciated

Sounds like the caps lock key itself may be broken. Apple can probably diagnose and offer a repair, MAYBE even for free if it just needs to be cleaned out or something. Likely you are out of warranty, BUT Apple is pretty good about this stuff. Doesn't hurt to ask. :) (They were able to fix mine - return key-, BUT I'm under warranty, and mine just needed a simple cleaning)

I spoke to an Apple Support guy and he said I would have to bring it in , as the key seemed to be broken and an out of warranty repair would be needed

I guess ill take it to the White City apple store after GCSEs
