I want to use my old iPhone on the handlebars of my bike to get notifications from my new iPhone that I would like to keep safely in my pack is there anyway to do this including let me know when I have a call I understand that I will not be able to answer the call on the old iPhone and would have to pull the new iPhone out to answer it

Welcome to iMore! It would work on WiFi, but not cellular. I may be wrong though. An Apple Watch would work I think.

Unless the phones had the same phone number, you wouldn't typically be able to do that. As stated already by Ledsteplin, an Watch would be perfect for what you've described.

Wouldn't this work using the WiFi Hotspot on the active iPhone to connect the devices?
