Through Verizon, iOS doesn't support the full parental controls yet.

You did say "child", right? If so, simply take the iPhone SE from the "child", tell him or her to give you the unlock code, and then go through the device at will. I assume you provided the phone for him or her. Apple does not provide a way to access the iPhone remotely and monitor its activities - at least not that I'm aware of.
