Possible screen disconnection?

While on the twitch app when logging in I put the phone down for a few secs then when I got back the screen was frozen at the login screen, after i pressed a couple home and power buttons the phone finally responded and showed the lock screen. Is it possible for the screen to be "disconnected" and just show the last thing it showed before it got disconnected? Or is it just these minor iOS random freezes?

Twitch is quite a powerhungry app, so don't worry about your screen.

I would highly doubt your screen is disconnected. I would think it would be totally unresponsive with no chance of recovering it. You don't say if this happens only with twitch app or it happens all the time with different apps as well. If this only happens with the twitch app, I would say there is a problem with the app and try uninstalling it and then installing it again.
