How can I reroute the audio output from the headphone jack to the built in speakers while the headphone jack is connected.

I am using a mid-2010 MacBook Pro which is running on sierra.
I broke my headphone cable inside the headphone jack and now the Mac assumes that there are headphones connected and does not allow me to listen to audio through the speakers. I have exhaused every method of taking the stuck piece of metal out and now its stuck even harder with superglue.
I still hear the speakers work then I boot the laoton and the starting sound comes.
So is there any way I can have the speakers work?

    Thanks in advance.

Have you tried the super glue methods to remove?

This method doesn't use glue which would be what I'd try first!

As for your question, I don't have a way to test it but would you be able to use bluetooth speakers.

I'd look into having Apple Genius Bar or a 3rd party repair done.

Yeah I would also recommend the Genius Bar route. If you have already tried a bunch of things you don't want to risk breaking it more.
