What is the best way for me to back up my Mackbook Air -

Hello - I want to be able to back up my MacBook Air and be able to get doc, files as I need then on the fly and share files, pictures etc...

Sync your files with iCloud (specifically the iCloud Drive, Dropbox, Etcetera. You can then access your files from anywhere with almost any smart device as long as that device has internet access.

There is a setting on the MacBooks when Sierra that allows your desktop and documents folder to be stored on the cloud. I personally use it and it's awesome. I can access those files from my phone and iPad on the fly. It's especially useful when I get an attachment via email that will require me to work on my computer. I can download the file on my phone (if I'm not able to get to my computer at the moment) and store it on my MacBook desktop (since my desktop folder is accessible via iCloud Drive now) and it will be ready for me when I get to my computer without the need to go to my email and download it again.

It's a pretty useful feature that I definitely recommend.
