Why are my iOS devices sorting my songs in reverse order within albums?

Ever since updating to iOS 10.2, the songs for every single album in my music are sorting the songs in reverse album order. Everything it sorted as it should be in iTunes, but on every iOS device I have-iPod Touch, iPhone 7 Plus, iPad Air, they are sorting the songs on each album in reverse order so that song 1 is the last one. I have tried everything I can think of to remedy this, but nothing as worked. Since I physically keep my music on my iPod Touch, but access my music through iTunes Match for my iPhone and iPad, it’s not the method I access and sync my music. The commonality is they all run iOS 10.2. I have called Apple with no success on this issue. Does anyone have any suggestions to fix this? Thank you.

What happens when you sort on another field and sort back in the order of preference? That should trigger the other devices to resort to the 'new' preference.

It's not convenient but works everytime when I have this issue.
