I have my whastapp registered on my iphone 6s but with a sim (number) which I no longer have, now I want to restore the backup I got from iphone 6s (specailly my whatsapp data) on the new Iphone 7 I got.
But once I restore the backup it prompts me for verification on my iphone 7, whereas I remember previously it was not the case when I migraetd in between iphones without have the sim on which my whatsapp was registered.
Any help here , using which I can keep on using my whatsapp registered on the same number and transfer it to my new phone without verification.
