Videos recorded without a sound - not what I wanted

I recorded several videos on my iPhone 6 with an average duration of about 3-4 minutes. They all recorded without sound. Why is that? Is there any way to get the sound to play on these videos?
My battery was on the low side but I repeatedly declined operating in low-battery mode and plugged it in about mid way.

There may be a setting that you have turned off. I know it sounds trite, but make sure the volume is turned up while you're recording. If that doesn't work, try Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. Do NOT click Erase All Content and Settings becuase that will delete all of your stuff off the device. If that still does not fix the issue, you may need to take a trip to the Apple Store so they can run diagnostics on the microphones.
