How can I delete Reading List from Safari toolbar in El Capitan?

Its annoying because too easy to hit plus sign accidentally when entering an address or search. Don't need Reading List as anything I'd want to return to would be in last day or two so easily found in History.

I'm not on my MacBook right now, but select the View option and then selecting hide reading list or something to that effect should be present. If not, my apologies.
