Hi all. Let me explain my issue.

For my work phone I used to use an iPhone 5C, which was absolute garbage. I got my hands on a 6 and everything has been great, except for 1 thing: Touch ID.

If there is even the slightest amount of dirt or residual fingerprints on it, the dang thing just wont work. I have to make sure the thing is absolutely clean in order for me to successfully authenticate.

Is anyone else struggling with this issue as well? Could it be the recent software update? Or is my Touch ID sensor going bad?

Lastly, the phone has no more warranty support.

Go to settings > touch id and passcode > then keep touching the touch ID sensor with your fingers. You will see them turn grey to say it sees the finger. Do this a bunch of times as touch id gets better over time.
