I only just started listening/watching to podcasts today... but when searching for , I came across HD and 1080P podcasts.
Which one is better quality??
(I never really understood)

- Something else... when downloading a podcast, how much space does it require on my iPhone??

Hello! Great question. :)

Normally when a video is referred to as HD. They are talking about 720p. Which is a slightly lower quality compared to 1080p and if they say FHD (Full HD) they are talking about 1080p. I cant give you the exact space you need to store the videos since they can vary in length. But it could be over 1GB depending on the length.

It depends what matters to you. If you're a video snob and want as high a resolution image as possible, go for 1080p. Only iPhone 6/6s/7 Plus can display in that resolution, but it will be crystal clear.

Personally, though, for podcasts, I value speed over resolution. 720p looks great on iPhone 6/6s/7 and good enough on the Plus, and it's faster to download and takes less bandwidth.
