i want to remove my icloud account from one device.

I am using my i cloud id in two devices. I want to remove one device from that account so does it affect my data if i remove that device from account? because i dont want to view my data in both the phones. But i want my old phone data in my new phone.
please help me.

If you want to get rid of all data on the phone that you want to remove your icloud account from,you can set it up as new. It doesn't affect the data on the other phone.
Be sure to first turn find my phone off on your old phone.
