no lightning EarPods included

no lightning EarPods includedI just upgraded to the 7+ at AT&T and thought that the new earphones were included. However they were not and AT&T told me that that was an additional $150 accessory. Does anybody know why?

The iPhone 7 should come with lightening EarPods, a lightening to 3.5mm jack adaptor, wall plug and lightening USB cable.

The $150 accessories are the AirPods which are wireless and not included.
