I use Avira since always without no issues, but I think the kind and amount of antivirus depends of how you browse Internet and where you plug your device.

What types of viruses are you afraid of? This isn't Android and I like and use Android before I get hate comments.

If there are devices, there will be software for it, regardless how secure it is how or useful it is...

There is little need for antivirus for iOS, the same as Android, because Apple locks its down. just like there is really no need for it on Mac either for the same purpose, but at least on the Mac its more open to third party installs.. so you can you that as a dense for using one

the "need" for it reduces the more security you have. but that won't stop people developing it

Antivirus for iPhone??? I had an antivirus app installed on my iPhone 4, but I didn't know better back then. The only smartphone I've ever owned that absolutely *required* an antivirus app is the HTC One M7 - I have Avast installed on that. But that's Android, which is known for getting malware.

I've been using the iPhone for 5 years. Not once have I heard of a non jailbroken iphone that got a virus. It just doesn't happen.

Actually, thats probbly the ony time u need it on iOS,, when the phone is jailbrocken
