my iphone 6S has lost its imei number

so I dropped my iphone 6S, cracked the screen and now it wont pick up my sim card ( or any sim card ) - do the #*06# and the imei is blank.
It is still stored in settings, general, about. It shows there, as does the carrier still show in settings. I've watched a few utubes but none have worked. Please if anyone can help - Caroline

I would suggest taking it back to Apple (or the carrier) and see if they can assist.
