You can't. At least for your every day regular usage.

If you lose your phone, you can put it in "Lost Mode" through Find My iPhone on another device and have the ability to put your contact info on the lock screen.

I took a copy of the photo that I wanted to use for my main wallpaper, and copied it. I then opened it up in Powerpoint of all things, created a textbox where I could set the transparency, and then added the text. I saved it, copied it into Paint and made a jpeg. This worked just fine!

I'm sure there are easier ways, because I've seen samples here. Good Luck!

Just take a wallpaper and use a "text on photo" app to put your name on it. I use Phonto.
