I have iPhone 6s Plus..uploaded my iTunes (my music) but what do I do to access it?

This is my first iPhone. My iTunes music is up to date on the computer. Do I need an app or what?

How did you "upload" it? Using iTunes on a computer? Something else? Where did the music come from?
Did you look in the "Music" app on the iPhone? Did you tap "Library" in the Music app? What happens then?
