    It may be that the servers are overwhelmed. A lot of people are getting gifts for iTunes so it could be busy. Try again in a couple hours.

    This is actually pretty normal. With all the gift cards and new iOS devices being introduced in one day, Apple's servers get hit pretty hard. It'll work eventually.
