Screen problem after replacing charging port

Just replaced charging port and battery in iphone 5s. Seemed to get everything back together correctly. But now screen goes crazy, clicking everywhere without me touching it. Have attempted to clean and reset all 3 connectors on screen but no change. What am I missing? No problems with screen prior to replacing charging port.

Don't rule out the possibility that the replaced battery and/or charging port could be defective.
