I am looking for a new laptop and it's come down to a few apple products for my options. I havemt eye on a 2016 13 inch MacBook Pro with Intel core i7, 3.1 ghz, and iris graphics 550. My question is is if it's worth it? Here's what I'd like to do with this computer:
-Video editing
-Decent graphics
-SOME gaming (Skyrim, league of legends)
-Work: Powerpoints, research, essays
-Reliability(will last me 3-4 years)
-Fast rendering
-Won't crash often
-4K video editing (some)
-Painting/drawing
-3D applications/printing(some)
-Doesn't slow down when heating up

Great question Pictured!

The i7 processor is only on the 3.3Ghz model and not the 3.1Ghz. However,
the 2015 model does have i7 processor with 3.1Ghz.

The first thing ill ask is, does money play a factor when purchasing the laptop?

If the answer is no, then get the Late 2016 model (with touch bar) with the specs you mentioned. The new graphics will help you with 4K video editing and gaming.

If money is an issue, i would recommend getting the 2015 model. For $1,799.00 you can get

2.9GHz i5 processor
16GB 1866MHz memory
256GB PCIe-based SSD
Intel Iris Graphics 6100
