When I create an event and try to invite someone from my contact list the person is usually great out? Not sure why I can't select them?

It is possible that you only have the phone number or physical address of the person you are trying to invite. Invitations are sent via email, so you'll need an email address saved in the contact card. Have you tried adding invitees via search? When in the event, tap **Invitees**, then tap **Add Invitees**. Then type in the name of the person you want to add. Tap the contact when it appears on the search query list.
