    it happened when I installed itune on my laptop. I uninstalled the itune already but i still can't see the device

    What brand of laptop? What operating system is installed? When iTunes was installed, was the device detected? If so, reinstall iTunes.

    Installing iTunes is a must-do, and make sure that you choose to "trust this computer" on the popup on the phone when connecting to the computer.
